The Treatment and Finance Coordinator prepares, presents, and schedules patients for treatment following the doctor’s direction. This individual will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, entering ICD-10, CDT, and CPT codes, setting up any financial arrangements needed, and collecting payment from patients. Deliverables: Recognizes role and operates within an integrated plan of care/service. Create, prepare, and work with the surgeon(s) to create treatment options that meet both patients’ and practice’s needs; present and explain plans to patients before treatment(s) is performed; present financing options and make necessary arrangements; ensure timely collection from patients, including payment or insurance processing as necessary; act as liaison for patient. Insurance verification and coverage for applicable treatment plans. Treatment estimate will be presented to patient and explained with personalized details based on policy details, procedure coding, and consultation with provider.
