POSITION OVERVIEW

The Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in helping patients understand their treatment plans and financial responsibilities while supporting clear communication between the dental team and patients. This position focuses on guiding patients through their care journey, tracking treatment progress, and ensuring a smooth, informed experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Review and manage treatment plans daily to ensure they meet individual patient needs and goals.
  • Educate and support patients by clearly explaining treatment options, follow-up procedures, and financial responsibilities.
  • Create a calm and welcoming environment to ease patient anxiety, especially during financial or treatment discussions.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and the clinical team, advocating for patient preferences and coordinating care.
  • Track patient progress by developing treatment management plans, monitoring outcomes, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Audit schedules and fill gaps to support daily production goals and ensure efficient use of provider time.
  • Coordinate financial arrangements and insurance benefits, ensuring patients understand and stay current on their obligations.
  • Maintain accurate records including referrals, claims, RCM tracking, and treatment notes with 100% accuracy.
  • Support administrative processes, including completing route slips, daily checklists, responding to emails, and attending meetings.
  • Collaborate across teams, including external agencies, to ensure quality patient care and timely treatment completion.
