JOB SUMMARY
The Treatment Court Coordinator oversees one or more specialty courts in the Third Judicial District, such as Drug Court, Mental Health Court, Veteran’s Court, Juvenile Drug Court, or DUI Court. Under the general supervision of the Trial Court Administrator and direct supervision of the Deputy Trial Court Administrator, the Coordinator facilitates a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary team led by the presiding judge. This role serves as the primary liaison among treatment providers, probation, attorneys, law enforcement, and the court, ensuring clear communication and consistent program operations. The Coordinator leads staff meetings, tracks participant progress, manages data collection and reporting, and maintains accurate records in compliance with federal confidentiality laws. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

o Identifies local resources for treatment court participants in the following areas: counseling, treatment, employments, pregnancy services, health services or other services need for participants to successfully complete treatment court requirements
o Surveys treatment court participants periodically and develops other methods of research and data to measure effectiveness of the treatment court programs
o Conducts program orientation with all participants and meets with each participant as required by their phase
o Receives receipts and monitors payment of fees by treatment court participants
o Identifies local resources for treatment court participants in the following areas: counseling, treatment, employments, pregnancy services, health services or other services need for participants to successfully complete treatment court requirements
o Prepares weekly court roster for staffing
o Assists the treatment court team in developing goals, objectives, and strategies for treatment court programs; provides weekly progress summaries to include phase changes, treatment note, and sanctions
o Schedules and coordinates all treatment court related meetings including team meetings
o Coordinates and facilitates interdisciplinary training for treatment court team members
o Promotes team integrity and monitors quality assurance
o Assists in the development of the treatment court and annual budget in conjunction with the Deputy Trial Court Administrator, monitors the treatment court budget and coordinates the planning and implementation of the treatment court activities with budgetary guidelines
o Develops and maintains written protocol and procedures for the operation of the treatment court
o Develops appropriate program brochures, literature, or videos as approved by the Trial Court Administrator
o Maintains open lines of communication between probation officers, prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys, law enforcement, treatment providers, and the judge to ensure accurate documentation
o Cultivates and maintains cooperative relationships with program and community stakeholders, assists in resolution of problems, questions or requests related to services provided
o Organizes and conducts community presentations
o Identifies service gaps and develops community resources
o Ensures that the program adheres to treatment court standards and guidelines for the State of Idaho
o Monitors program goals and objectives to ensure compliance with the mission statement and continues to review goals and objectives with the team to identify and implement revisions
o Participates in program certification and peer reviews or other quality assurance programs
o Prepares reports required by the Idaho Supreme Court
o Collects and analyzes data utilized for statistical and narrative reporting
o Schedules and prepares agendas for regular treatment court committee meetings or meetings with other professionals related to treatment court activities
o Serves as case manager
o Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with county policies, procedures and safety practices
o All other duties as assigned
