Job Details Job Location: Sonterra - San Antonio, TX Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School/GED Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: Day Job Category: Nurse Description Some of the Medical Assistant responsibilities will include, Scheduling and coordination with different departments Demonstrate quality patient care and service Advocate and follow through with all patient issues Blood Draws EMR-Computer Skills Injections Must be able to perform catherizations Central Line Access (Medi Port and PICC line) Familiarity with precertification and referral processes Outstanding patient services skills Qualifications Medical assistant skills and experience needed are, Certified from an accredited school Experience triaging patients to be seen by physician Working knowledge of back office process & procedures Oncology Experience EKG Excellent phone communication skills (patients, referring physicians, ancillary services)

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating with different departments while demonstrating quality patient care and service. They will also advocate for patients and follow through with all patient issues.
