Overview:
The company currently wishes to recruit a motivated, and driven Treatment Plant Operator to work as part of the Dunbia (Dungannon) site Maintenance Team within our Primary Factory. This represents an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled team with the potential for progress within the team.
Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Primary Maintenance Manager, the main duties and responsibilities:

• To carry out the day to day running of the Treatment Plant.
• Daily and weekly sample taking and testing.
• Monitor and adjusting levels, readings and flows.
• Keeping the plant running within legislative boundaries.
• Basic preventative maintenance – oiling, greasing, replacing, tidying, ETC.
• Assisting maintenance engineers with Maintenance tasks when required.
• Visual checks on equipment during machine operation.
• Reporting, both written and verbal, of faults requiring specialist skills.
• At all times ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Essential criteria:

• Previous experience in an industrial environment.
• Awareness of the main requirements of Health and Safety legislation and good practice relevant to the duties of the post.
• Ability to work as part of a team, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instruction while working under own initiative.
• Possess a positive attitude and the willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Computer literate as plant runs SCADA system.
