Essential Functions: * Support 24/7 operations. * Oversee the operation and routine maintenance of process and support areas. * Monitor, initiate, and direct adjustments to plant processes and equipment both manually and through process control systems including remote facilities. * Adjust plant processes as indicated by laboratory tests. * Take samples of wastewater and other process flows. * Perform basic wastewater laboratory analysis. * Clean plant process areas and equipment. * Maintain records and prepare reports. * Direct Treatment Plant Operator Trainees and Treatment Plant Operators to investigate and correct process control problems. * Assist in training operators. * Assist plant's trades employees. * Required to fill-in for Team Leaders at the Treatment Plant. Additional Responsibilities: Perform related work as required or as delegated by Team Leaders and Supervisor. Responsibilities
This senior role supports 24/7 operations by overseeing the operation and routine maintenance of process and support areas, monitoring and directing plant processes via manual and system controls. The operator is also responsible for directing and assisting junior operators, taking samples, performing lab analysis, and filling in for Team Leaders when required.
