Description Treatment Technician Schedule: Four days per week. Two days in Savannah. Two days in Rincon. Overview Horizon Behavioral Health seeks a Treatment Technician to support interventional psychiatric treatments in a growing outpatient practice. The technician works directly with patients receiving Neurofeedback, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Spravato therapy. The role requires strong attention to detail, patient empathy, and strict adherence to clinical protocols. Primary Responsibilities • Prepare patients for Neurofeedback, TMS, and Spravato treatments • Operate Neurofeedback and TMS equipment according to clinical protocols • Monitor patients during Spravato treatment sessions under provider supervision • Record vital signs and patient responses before, during, and after treatments • Document treatment sessions accurately in the electronic medical record • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout treatment visits • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before each session • Ensure all treatment equipment functions correctly • Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturer protocols for TMS and Neurofeedback systems • Maintain inventory of treatment supplies and notify management when restocking is required • Explain treatment procedures and expectations to patients • Provide calm and professional support during treatment sessions • Observe patient responses and promptly report concerns to the supervising provider • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations • Document treatment notes and session details in the EMR • Coordinate patient scheduling with front office staff when needed • Assist with patient intake and preparation for treatment visits Requirements Qualifications: 2 years of pertinent college-level work or a minimum of 4 years of pertinent work experience - Health Care Administration or Medical Assistant Course of Study Preferred Medical Assistant experience preferred Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player. Tactfulness. Demonstrate willingness to adapt to change. Pleasant phone manner. Must be a self-starter and dependable. Able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible. Confident, positive manner. Customer service experience. Word processing, data entry, 10-key, telephone, and computer experience. Customer service experience.
Responsibilities
