REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Finance/Maths/Engineering/related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in reinsurance/insurance/financial services, including at least 3 years in a leadership and treaty role.
  • A solid understanding of the reinsurance market, including both facultative and treaty reinsurance, and the ability to navigate complex claim scenarios.
  • Proficient with claim processing systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools to streamline claims management.
  • Excellent to analyze complex claims, attention to detail, and decision-making skills that benefit all stakeholders.Good interpersonal skills with a talent for building lasting relationships and negotiating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Drive Strategic Settlements – Take charge of negotiating fair and timely settlements, collaborating with claimants, brokers, and reinsurers to ensure optimal outcomes with minimal financial impact.
  • Policy Analysis & Risk Management – Review reinsurance policies to assess coverage terms and mitigate risks, ensuring accurate claims handling from start to finish.
  • Foster Strong Relationships – Build and nurture meaningful relationships with clients, reinsurers, and brokers, ensuring open communication and a high level of service delivery.Ensure Compliance & Stay Ahead – Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry developments, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and best practices in all claims processes.
