The key focus areas of this role include:

  • Tree inspections, assessments, and mitigation recommendations.
  • Assessment of trees on development sites.
  • Liaison with contract service providers.
  • Tree asset renewal, auditing, and compliance.
  • Provide advice for review and implementation of Council’s Tree management policy and strategy and other related documents.
  • Teamwork in accordance with Councils core values.
  • Provide high level arboricultural advice.
  • Investigate and report on damage to public and private trees or property
