Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated Tree Worker – Climbing Arborist Crew Member to join our tree division. The ideal candidate has climbing experience, understands safe work practices, and is eager to expand their knowledge in tree care and rigging operations. Key Responsibilities: · Uphold and promote a safety-first mindset, adhering to ANSI Z133, ANSI A300 standards, and ISA best management practices. · Use all required PPE and ensure fellow crew members do the same. · Perform tree climbing, pruning, rigging, lowering, and removal operations safely and efficiently. · Operate manual and mechanical tools, including chainsaws, power pole saws, pruners, and brush cutters. · Operate wood and brush chippers safely. · Tie and use knots for climbing and rigging applications. · Execute proper pruning techniques both from the ground and while aloft to ensure tree health and meet client objectives. · Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in safe working condition. Qualifications: · Previous tree work and climbing experience preferred; willingness to learn new skills required. · Strong knowledge of tree care techniques, tools, and safety procedures · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required. · Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. · Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
