Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics is a thriving, physician-owned dermatology practice consisting of four dermatologists, advanced practice providers and experienced support staff. We are looking for a patient focused individual to join our team as a Triage Dermatology Assistant. We offer a comprehensive training program, competitive wage, and excellent benefits. Hours: Full time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Monday through Friday, with availability and flexibility between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:15 pm. Job duties include but are not limited to: Primary location after training will be in Triage. Responsible for assisting providers with patient care by obtaining and documenting history, performing assigned procedures and providing patient education. Accompanying the provider in room and documenting clinical notes as directed by the provider. Triaging all incoming telephone calls and faxes, prioritizing workflow, involving the provider as appropriate, resolving patient concerns and needs, and successfully completing the communication cycle. Provide education and direction to patients in regards to the reason for their call.
