The Triage Engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic, and detail-oriented engineer to help deliver the next quality release of these products on Apple’s platforms. DESCRIPTION The Triage Engineering team is looking for an engineer with a strong technical and triaging background to help screen and triage incoming bug reports, handle a large influx of reports, reduce them to practical steps and assign them to the appropriate team. By understanding the reports coming in and escalating them appropriately, you will play a key part in making future releases of Apple’s communication applications and browser exceptional. In this role, you will help us screen incoming bugs, run a large queue in a timely manner, reduce them to practical steps, and assign them to appropriate engineers. Excellent communication skills are a must because of the close interaction with several engineering teams throughout Apple for this role. In addition to leveraging your programming skills to automate and scale various aspect of triaging to identify critical issues faster. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS B.S or M.S in Computer Science, or equivalent experience Ability to utilize triaging, troubleshooting and debugging techniques Excellent written and verbal communication Experience working with Git or other source control systems Excellent programming skills in Python, Javascript or other languages Expertise in using Gen-AI day to day PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in Swift or Objective-C or C/C++ Experience in building and deploying tools Understanding of ML/AI concepts and data analytics
