EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by some college level

Responsibilities

Reports To: Tribal Administrator

Salary : $24.84

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Prioritize and complete multiple assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
· Assist in the preparation and coordination of activities and/or events.
· Responsible for assisting in all areas of administration including, but not limited to, communication, scheduling, filing, copying, and other general office duties.
· Function as receptionist, schedule appointments, operate switchboard and provide customer service.
· Compose memos, correspondence, charts, lists, reports and other information from rough draft, plain or corrected copies.
· Sort and file papers, bills, receipts and other documents as directed.
· Assist in distribution/delivery of supplies; pick up and deliver inter office communications and packages.
· Arrange space for meetings, conferences and other events.
· Schedule travel arrangements.
· Process incoming/outgoing mail.
· Provide carefully planned weekly schedule of activities to supervisor for approval before assisting in any other area.
· Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase and check requisitions, and in the handling of bills, receipts and other documents.
· Provide weekly schedules of activities to supervisor for approval.
· Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
