BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO ITALY HAS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A COMPLIANCE MANAGER IN TRIESTE

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager to ensure our organization’s adherence to legal standards and in-house policies. Part of the Factory Leadership Team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising management on possible risks.
This role is pivotal in safeguarding our company’s integrity and reputation by ensuring we operate within the law and uphold high ethical standards.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively to ensure our company’s adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Compliance Policies: Create, update, and enforce company policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Regularly assess company activities to identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Monitor and Audit Processes: Oversee internal processes and procedures to ensure they comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Educate and train employees on compliance-related topics, policies, and procedures to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Bodies: Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of compliance issues.
  • Investigate Compliance Violations: Lead internal investigations into compliance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Regulations: Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance and risk management.
