As a Bar Manager at Trillium, you will support the daily operations of both the lobby bar and restaurant beverage service, ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience through excellent service, staff leadership, and efficient bar management. Job Duties/Responsibilities Support the Restaurant Manager by overseeing bar operations for both the lobby and restaurant service areas. Assist with daily bar procedures including opening, losing, restocking, and cleanliness of all bar spaces and storage areas. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards. Assist in staff supervision including hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching bartenders, and servers. Help develop and maintain a strong beverage program by contributing to menu updates and specialty cocktail creation. Ensure team adherence to recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations. Provide exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly. Monitor and control inventory levels, waste, and labor to stay within budget parameters. Stay current with industry trends and incorporate creative and relevant offerings. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Prior experience in a supervisory or management role within the bar or hospitality industry. Strong working knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and beverage service standards. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with crafting cocktails, wine and spirit knowledge, and staff training. Familiarity with POS systems, bar inventory software, and related technology. TIPs Certification or equivalent in responsible alcohol service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the bar and restaurant areas. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted.
