Description

Skillforce is seeking an experienced Trim/Finish Carpenter for full-time, field-based commercial work across multiple large-scale project sites in the Houston, TX area. This is a full-time opportunity with a steady, long-term pipeline of commercial builds spanning hospitals, hotels, and major institutional facilities. Pay & Schedule: * $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience * Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week * Overtime available * Immediate start Responsibilities: * Install interior trim including baseboards, door and window casings, and crown molding to commercial finish standards * Set and install cabinets and countertops per project specifications and shop drawings * Hang doors, fit hardware, and complete all rough openings to a finish-ready standard * Read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and field dimensions on active commercial sites * Coordinate with other trades and site supervision on occupied and semi-occupied buildings * Maintain a clean, organized work area consistent with commercial jobsite safety requirements * Supply and maintain personal hand tools required for daily finish work Qualifications: Required: * Minimum 3 years of commercial finish carpentry experience * Proficiency with trim installation: baseboards, casings, crown molding, and millwork * Hands-on experience installing cabinets and setting countertops on commercial projects * Ability to read blueprints and work from shop drawings and field measurements * Must supply own basic hand tools * Reliable transportation to multiple job sites in the Houston, TX area * Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Preferred: * Prior experience on hospital, hotel, or large institutional commercial builds * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification * Experience working on occupied commercial buildings Benefits: * Weekly pay * Paid time off * Referral program * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * 401(k) If you are a Trim/Finish Carpenter with commercial project experience and are ready to put your skills to work, apply today.

Responsibilities
