ABOUT THIS ROLE

Roy Foss Thornhill is seeking an experienced and professional Trim Technician. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in this role. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete necessary repairs across all major automotive systems.
  • Inspect mechanical components (e.g., engines, transmissions, brakes), conduct road tests, and perform safety inspections to identify faults or required service.
  • Repair or replace parts related to fuel, brakes, suspension, drive train, emissions, cooling, electrical, and more using specialized tools.
  • Clearly explain diagnoses and repair procedures to Service Advisors and ensure accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Support the service team by completing assigned tasks and assisting with other duties as needed to ensure smooth shop operations.
  • Repairs conducted as per factory processes, policies and procedures.
