Position Details:
The Opportunity
Do you have a passion for serving students and experience with administrative support and coordinating programs? Consider applying for our Program Coordinator vacancy within TRiO Talent Search at Washington State University (WSU) Vancouver.
Under the direction of the Campus Director of Talent Search Programs, you will plan, organize and coordinate all aspects of two TRiO Talent Search grant programs. You will be responsible for maintaining program directives as set out by the federal grants, including preparing grant related reports and Annual Performance reports for the Department of Education, while abiding by federal and state policies and WSU policies. You will educate and inform students, staff and the public on program initiatives.
In this position, you will also respond to inquiries regarding enrollment in the programs and services provided, record student contacts, and enter data into the software tracking system. While maintaining a high level of confidentiality, you will independently reach out to participants and their families to obtain additional necessary information and documentation to meet program requirements.
You will also independently coordinate travel, activities and events, including monthly purchasing verification and reconciling budgets for the Talent Search grant(s). You will provide logistical support for target school events, field trips, and other programing serving the 1,000 Talent Search participants within the Vancouver Public Schools. This also includes ordering and tracking program inventory and working with the WSU Vancouver marketing and communications team to update Talent Search marketing materials and websites. You will support various hiring personnel processes for Talent Search grant(s), including both full and part-time staff.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), project position. This position is overtime eligible.
Project End Date: This is a project position expected to end on September 30, 2026.
Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
This position works on-site on the WSU Vancouver campus. The position will be primarily on-campus with some remote work opportunities after 6 months; remote work may also be available during breaks when students are not present.
Monthly Salary: $3,665 to $4,882 | Range 41, Steps A to M | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with
