CALLING ALL MUSICAL THEATRE PROFESSIONALS!

Stage & Screen Academy—a vibrant performing arts school based at Salford City Academy—is seeking a triple threat musical theatre teacher to join the team! (singing, acting and dancing)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in teaching vocal harmonies
• Confident piano/keyboard skills (minimum grade 5)
• Experience working with young performers aged 7–18
  Choreographer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong background in dance and movement (please provide a dance showreel)
• Ability to create age-appropriate, engaging choreography (please send a link to a choreography you’ve done)

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and inspiring
• Based in Manchester
• Holds a valid enhanced DBS check
• Previous experience working with other creatives putting on musicals
• Versatility in singing, acting and dancing to support various classes

Rehearsal Details

• When: Saturdays (term time)
• Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Where: Salford City Academy, Northfleet Road, Eccles, Manchester M30 7PQ

• SIX: Teen Edition – Performances on 18th & 19th October 2025
• Legally Blonde JR – Scheduled for 18th and 19th July 2026

Pay is £20/h dependant on experience.
If you are a teaching assistant, we don’t currently have positions available, but can offer work experience.

• Dancing (non professional accepted): 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• DBS certificated (that you can send a picture of) (preferred)
• Piano Grade (5 and above) (preferred)
