Job Title Engineer L3 Python Developer Location (s) Cochin Years of Experience 5-8 years Job Description Key Responsibilities Backend (Python/Django) • Design, develop, and maintain Django-based web applications & REST APIs. • Implement business logic, data models, and ORM layers. • Manage database schema design, migrations, and optimization. • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security. Frontend (Angular) • Develop responsive UI screens using Angular (latest version preferred). • Integrate Angular frontend with Django-based APIs. • Work on components, services, state management, and UI/UX improvements. Cloud & DevOps (AWS) • Deploy and manage applications on AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway). • Build CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar). • Use Docker for containerization where required. • Monitor performance using CloudWatch and optimize infrastructure costs. General Responsibilities • Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and architecture discussions. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams. • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance. • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure quality. ________________________________________ Required Skills • Strong proficiency in Python 3.x, Django, Django REST Framework. • Hands-on experience in Angular (components, routing, RxJS, forms, services). • Experience with AWS cloud, including: o EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudFront, Load Balancers o Lambda (optional but preferred) • Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and security best practices. • Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL). • Experience with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD basics. • Understanding of Docker.
