Description:
Grid Link has a full-time vacancy for an Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Grid Link is a local Utility Contractor, operating in Thunder Bay since the year 2000. Automotive Mechanic duties include:
- Perform general inspections on all different types of motorized equipment
- Perform repairs on all different types of motorized equipment as required
- Diagnose engine fault codes and repair as required
- Diagnose malfunctions of equipment and repair as required
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly/yearly service on units as required
- Complete proper service documentation to ensure accuracy for record keeping
- Perform all repair in-house or in-field as required
- Ensure all work order notes are completed accurately and completely
- Properly complete and file Annual Inspections and Safety Inspection paperwork
- Understand proper process for ordering parts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$41.00 per hour
