Join our dynamic team at Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc as a Truck and Pup Class 1 Driver! In this role you will play a crucial role in transporting materials to and from job sites with efficiency and care. We're looking for someone who values safety and teamwork as much as we do! This is a seasonal position, Monday through Saturday, and will keep you local to the Edmonton area. Our exciting projects range from park construction to landscape and earthworks. We pride ourselves on being a leader in delivering top-notch services to our clients. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Hauling aggregates to various work sites in the Edmonton area safely and on time Following assigned routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines Performing daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks with care Keeping accurate logs of materials and deliveries to ensure smooth operations Operating a truck with various types of trailers safely and efficiently Adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies Securing loads properly before transport to ensure safety Communicating effectively and cheerfully with your team members and clients A valid Class 1 driver's license At least 1 year of experience in truck and pup operations Knowledge of driving regulations and equipment operation A safety-oriented attitude with keen attention to detail Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing Mechanical aptitude to perform routine equipment maintenance Tech-savvy; comfortable using apps on iPhone or Android (we use Nektar!)
