QUALIFICATIONS

• 2nd year apprentice with transport trailer CVIP ticket or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience working on double drop, flat deck, heated van trailers is an asset
• Class 1 license will be an asset
• Working experience on Kenworth and Western star will be an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles, trucks, and related equipment to locate and determine the extent of necessary repair.
• Perform general repair work on fleet.
• Perform preventive maintenance and required repairs on the fleet to ensure good working conditions either independently or in consultation with his/her manager
• May be required to conduct on-site service calls
• Duties as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Perform a variety of duties in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing trailer fleet
• Good attitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to prioritize work as necessary
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Computer literate
