JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Truck and Transport Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet of trucks and specialized municipal equipment is maintained to the highest standards. You’ll be working with industry-leading brands and diverse machinery, supporting our mission to deliver reliable solutions to municipalities and contractors throughout the region.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Licensed Truck and Transport Mechanic or apprentices are welcome to apply and will be considered based on skill and experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy-duty and municipal equipment
• Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system diagnostics and vacuum truck experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using diagnostic software
• Ability to lift heavy components and operate power tools safely

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains in transport trucks and municipal equipment. Vacuum truck experience would be an asset.
• Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
• Perform troubleshooting using diagnostic software and equipment
• Complete service documentation and ensure parts usage is recorded accurately
• Travel to customer sites as needed for on-location repairs or diagnostics
• Collaborate with parts coordinators, service managers, and fellow technicians to ensure efficient operations
