  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related field sales
  • Experience: 5 – 10 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in truck body sales, trailer sales, or commercial vehicle industry.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of dealer networks and B2B sales dynamics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially cross-functional communication
  • Product and technical knowledge related to truck bodies preferred
  • Strategic thinking paired with tactical execution
  • High comfort with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making
  • Travel: Up to 30-50%
  • Performance Metrics:
  • Dealer engagement and performance growth (e.g., volume, participation)
  • Support and conversion rate for field sales opportunities
  • Forecast accuracy and pipeline visibility
  • Cross-functional alignment and internal coordination effectiveness
  • Customer and dealer satisfaction as measured by feedback and retention

The Position: The Truck Body Sales Manager plays a critical role in supporting and accelerating truck body sales across both dealer and direct field sales channels. This position is responsible for aligning dealer enablement efforts with national strategy, supporting field sales on strategic opportunities, and driving coordination across departments to ensure sales success.
Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Dealer Channel Support
  • Serve as the primary sales support contact for assigned truck body dealers.
  • Ensure dealers have the tools, training, and information needed to successfully position and sell our truck body products.
  • Monitor dealer performance and engagement, providing strategic support and feedback to improve outcomes.
  • Assist with dealer onboarding and annual planning processes.
  • Field Sales Team Collaboration
  • Partner with field sales managers and regional sales leaders to identify and support key truck body opportunities.
  • Provide quoting support, product knowledge, and deal strategy input for customer engagements.
  • Join customer meetings or calls as needed to represent truck body products and capabilities.
  • Share competitive insights and customer feedback to help refine product positioning.
  • Sales Strategy Execution
  • Support the rollout and adoption of truck body sales strategies across all sales channels.
  • Coordinate internally with sales operations, product, and marketing to align messaging, tools, and execution.
  • Track and report on dealer engagement, opportunity development, and key wins or losses.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work with operations and customer service teams to align production schedules with sales expectations.
  • Partner with marketing to ensure truck body collateral, campaigns, and promotions are effective and targeted.
  • Communicate product updates and changes across both dealer and field teams.
  • Forecasting & Performance Management
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and sales forecasting for truck body products within Salesforce.
  • Analyze and report on channel performance, identifying areas for growth or additional support.
  • Participate in regular business reviews to update leadership on truck body sales health.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
