Description SUMMARY: Responsible for verifying both inbound/outbound inventory matches on Company vehicles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Ensure load accuracy at check out and check in by physically auditing inventories on unit. Complete and maintain required documentation/records for inventory audit. Enter inventory data in handheld computer. Visually inspect all incoming and outgoing vehicles. Fill and service break room vendors. Effectively manage time as a resource. Work independently with limited work direction. Ensure that all job responsibilities are performed in a safe and effective manner. Other duties as assigned or requested. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None Requirements COMPETENCIES: Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Other Skills and Abilities: Forklift certification Other Qualifications: Ability to receive, count, and handle large sums of money during route check in and settlement (placement of money and all keys in safe for overnight storage). Check in and account for all keys from route drivers and all keys used in performing duties of the Truck Checker position. Responsible for daily checking out and in of assigned keys (keys to vehicles, safe, and vending machines) that this position is required to use and handle during the work shift.
