WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 2+ years in transportation or dispatch (preferred)
• Good knowledge of the GTA
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with computers and dispatch software (TMW and Peoplenet are a plus)
• A knack for problem-solving and attention to detail
• Diploma or equivalent experience

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Dispatcher to join our team at our Hamilton office, working in the tanker side of the trucking industry. This is a full-time, in-office role, Monday to Friday, with a rotating on-call schedule.
If you’re someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, solving problems on the fly, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit. You’ll be right in the action—coordinating drivers, managing schedules, and making sure everything flows safely and efficiently.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Dispatching drivers based on schedules, work orders, and last-minute changes
• Staying in touch with drivers throughout their shifts and helping with any routing issues
• Booking loads and coordinating with customers
• Scheduling based on safety, efficiency, and customer needs
• Keeping track of driver progress and communicating updates
• Responding to calls and emails from drivers and customers
• Making sure driver info is accurate and entered properly
• Ensuring paperwork is submitted within 24 hours of delivery
• Rotating weekend on-call duties
• Being the go-to person for anything drivers need at the terminal
