ABOUT US:

We are a leading scrap metal transportation company serving the Greater Toronto Area and broader Ontario region. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Dispatcher to join our growing team.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ontario roadways.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – strong communication skills are essential.
• Comfortable working long shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility as needed.
• Experience using Samsara
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in high-pressure situations.
• Previous experience in dispatching or logistics (preferred but not required).

• Coordinate and dispatch a fleet of trucks for daily scrap metal pickups and deliveries across the GTA and Ontario.
• Monitor driver activity and performance using Samsara fleet management software.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide accurate instructions, resolve issues, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of dispatch activity, load details, and routing information.
• Optimize routes based on traffic, weather, and delivery schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Liaise with customers, providing updates and resolving service-related concerns professionally.
• Support compliance with all transportation safety standards and company policies.
