DESCRIPTION

Newhaven Park is a leading thoroughbred nursery located in Boorowa NSW and is seeking experienced truck drivers to join our team ahead of the 2026 breeding season.
These roles will involve transportation of broodmares on a 6-horse truck to thoroughbred studs in NSW & VIC for cover with immediate turnaround times.
Due to these roles requiring significant overnight and weekend work, it is anticipated that the positions will be shared between at least two drivers on a casual basis, to accommodate driver rest periods. Days and hours of work to be negotiated with each individual.
The roles have the potential to expand into a year-round role for the right applicants.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Extensive previous experience transporting horses of all ages & genders in a safe and timely manner.
• Adhering to WHS safety & horse management protocols and procedures.
• Applicants must be able to follow explicit written and oral instructions.
• Reporting and assisting in the management of any vehicle or horse related incidents.
• Maintenance and cleaning of the truck.
• Minimum MR valid truck license required.
  The ideal applicants will be required to be reliable & hardworking, with clear communication skills and the ability to handle thoroughbreds of all ages.
