We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources and dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects. We are looking for an experienced Truck and Trailer driver to deliver our product to our customer sites. We ultimately want drivers who are passionate about safety, results focused and have a strong work ethic. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential. This role will be based out of our Nudgee Recycling Facility and will see you working Monday to Friday and occasionally rostered for Saturday mornings. In your new role with us, you will: Drive reliable trucks and well-maintained equipment Load and deliver products as directed Provide top notch customer service to our valued clients Shift times are a 5:45am start working 8 – 10 hours p/day on average This role is a great fit if you: Are results focused, self-motivated and take pride in your work Hold a professional work ethic with a customer service-oriented attitude Have a mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems Have a proven background working as part of a productive team Hold a current HC Licence (essential) Have previous tipper truck driving experience preferred, however training will be provided to the right candidate Possess a positive and high regard for safety policies and procedures Can provide a current copy of your driving history with a clean driving record What we offer: Base hourly rate from $31.94 - $35.94/hour, plus penalty rates, plus super All uniforms and PPE provided Ongoing career and development opportunities A fantastic opportunity to join a leading industry employer and become an integral member of their high performing team At Alex Fraser, the work you will do with us matters.
