We are currently hiring a full-time CDL Class A Certified Truck Driver. This position delivers equipment Monday-Friday on local daytime routes based out of our New Berlin location. Badger Toyotalift, part of the Atlas Companies, is an authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer committed to providing quality service, premium equipment, and innovative solutions for companies of all sizes. Your New Role: Responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport of customer-owned forklifts, scissor lifts and floor cleaning equipment. Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner at all times; following all safety and conduct rules. Serve as one of the initial contacts between Atlas and the customer; treating them with respect and courtesy and knowing when to refer the customer to our Sales or Service staff for further questions. Follow daily delivery/pick up schedule. Reports unexpected situations or delays that may occur throughout the day. Maintain the interior and exterior of company assigned vehicles and reports any damage or irregularities to management. Required to know and observe all Department of Transportation compliance regulations, including but not limited to weight and height restrictions. Perform other duties and tasks as directed by management. Requirements What You’ll Need to Succeed: Hold a valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record. Experience driving open and enclosed semi-trailers. Must have experience backing into a loading bay. Must have experience engaging with customers. Experience and certification in the operation of forklifts and aerial lift equipment. Must be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
