JOB DESCRIPTION: LOCAL TRUCK DRIVER - VAUDREUIL-DORION TERMINAL

We are seeking an experienced Local Truck Driver to join our Vaudreuil-Dorion terminal. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of client freight, ensuring adherence to best practices at all times. Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely transport products to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Deliver freight according to safety procedures, maintaining compliance with all guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle, reporting any issues to management.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transit.
• Communicate professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations regarding safety and security.
• All other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 License.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to achieve operational goals.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff.
