Description Position Summary: Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Truck Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering material to and from customers in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Pick up and deliver products to and from customers as efficiently as possible ? Complete pre-trip inspections process ? Properly drop trailers in the dock ? Complete all necessary paperwork ? Immediately report any trip delays or mechanical issues to supervisor ? Check load weight and against B.O.L ? Check load weight ? Obey all traffic laws ? Sweep trailer at end of day ? Professionally represent Chem-Plate while at customer locations Experience and Skills: ? Minimum 1 yr driving experience and clean driving record ? Current Class A Drivers license Requirements ABILITY TO: • Repair Power equipment • Perform difficult, complex and detailed work with accuracy and speed under the pressure of deadlines • Exercise proper decision making judgment • Maintain knowledge of changing technology • Exhibit flexibility with regard to job duties Education: Certification in diesel repair or equivalent work experience Physical Demands: ? Must be able to up to lift 100 lbs on a regular basis Environment: The position is located in the front office of manufacturing facility. Visits into the plant are necessary on an occasional basis.
