Position Summary The Truck Driver is responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of materials to and from customer locations while maintaining safety, professionalism, and compliance with all transportation regulations. Requirements Responsibilities Pick up and deliver products to and from customer locations efficiently and safely Complete pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle readiness Properly position and drop trailers at loading docks Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation Report trip delays, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately Verify load weights and compare against Bills of Lading (B.O.L.) Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies Maintain trailer cleanliness, including sweeping trailers at the end of the day Represent Chem-Plate Industries professionally at all customer locations Qualifications Current Class A CDL Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience Clean driving record Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to make sound decisions and work independently Flexible and adaptable to changing job duties Preferred Skills Diesel repair certification or equivalent work experience Ability to repair power equipment Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift up to 100 pounds Ability to perform physical work associated with loading, unloading, and equipment inspections Why Join Chem-Plate Industries?
