OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team to help haul material with an end dump trailer through the month of August. This job is to help us get through a month long project and comes with the possibility of more part timee work for the remainder of the year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting material safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL , Class 1A) is required.
  • Experience hauling / dumping scissor dump trailers
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Operate trucks to transport freight and materials to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other necessary documentation.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as required.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
