DRIVER - CLASS 3 OR CLASS 1

Harco Developments has been operating for almost 30 years and is one of Calgary’s leading landscape construction contractors providing the market with construction services in the building and maintenance of entry features, boulevards, parks, storm ponds, sports fields, and other green spaces within new communities on behalf of our clients.
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 or Class 3 Driver for our commercial landscaping operations. Successful applicants will be able to provide proof of certification and a clean 3-Year Commercial Drivers Abstract

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Truck drivers will work with a team of supervisors, equipment operators and laborers to perform a variety of different work relating to landscape construction at all phases
• Ability to conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
• Plan travel schedule and route

Experience and Qualifications:

• 5+ years related experience
• Physically fit – labour tasks may be required depending on the project
• Must have the ability to arrive at various job sites around Calgary and surrounding area
• Experience hauling equipment would be considered an asset
• Must have excellent communication skills

We offer industry competitive compensation reflective of the successful candidate’s experience. Regular, overtime, and vacation time is paid bi-weekly.
