JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight logistics effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and compliance with regulations.
SKILLS
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles to perform basic maintenance on vehicles.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, is preferred.
- Ability to manage freight logistics efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records and compliance with safety regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $2,000.00-$2,200.00 per week

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Perform basic automotive repair and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
