QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Class 1 licence
• Minimum 3 years class 1 experience
• Clean Drivers abstract - Abstract must be attached to application
• Must have experience letters, from previous employers, detailing a minimum of 3 years related driving experience
• Experience with truck and trailer combination
• Ability to perform physical exertion such as repetitive lifting, pushing and pulling items that weight up to 50 pounds as part of their daily routine
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements
• Must have strong communication, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• Class 1: 3 years (required

• Must be able to perform proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain digital logs
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order
• Immediately report any defects in equipment or workmanship, which may jeopardize the safe operation of the vehicle, to the Supervisor
• Ensure that all loads being transported are loaded in a safe and secure manner
