Position Title: Truck Driver – Class R Department: Operations  Reports To: Delivery Operations Manager  FLSA Status: Hourly  Location: Denver, CO Position Summary Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of materials to the customer base and the backhauling of materials to the facility. What sets us apart: * A family-founded culture that prioritizes people and relationships * A workplace grounded in safety, respect, and accountability * Transparent leadership and clear expectations * Investment in employee development and training * A commitment to doing the right thing for our employees, customers and communities Key Responsibilities * Drivers operate company owned vehicles on public streets and highways. * Opening and closing facility gates, reading and following shipping documents * Maintaining accurate logs and following instructions from the Dispatcher. * Drivers may or may not participate in the loading of materials but are responsible for securing the load using approved devices and methods. * Perform Pre and Post Trip Inspections of delivery equipment * Provide excellent customer service to customers during delivery and pickup operations * Identify and report safety, discrepancy and efficiency concerns * Follow detailed shipping documents, bills of lading and report any deviations to manager * Facilitate window installations * All other duties assigned.
