SUMMARY

We are seeking a DZ Truck Driver to join our team for a 3 -6 month contract at AWC Manufacturing LP. This position is essential for transporting materials and products to various job sites while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations. Your role will be vital in supporting our operations and maintaining our commitment to quality service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with air brakes and a clean driving record.
  • Experience in freight transportation preferably with flat bed to be able to strap down and secure loads for transport
  • Familiarity with safety regulations related to trucking operations.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, cranes and other heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Transport materials and products safely and efficiently to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Strap and secure loads safely
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding transportation.
  • Assist in loading and unloading freight as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
