POSITION OVERVIEW:

Cronos Steel Company is seeking a reliable HR Truck Driver to join our logistics and operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to multiple drop-off points, loading and unloading using forklifts and overhead cranes, and ensuring all pre-start safety checks are completed. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic steel processing environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HR Licence with no conditions (must be able to drive Road Ranger gearbox).
• 5:00 AM sharp start time.
• Forklift licence – essential.
• Overhead crane experience – preferred.
• Chain tie-down and mixed load securing experience – preferred.
• Multi-drop delivery experience – preferred
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Perform daily deliveries and multi-drop runs as required
• Conduct pre-start checks on trucks and equipment
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Secure loads using chains and technical tie-down methods
• Maintain accurate delivery records and follow delivery schedules
• Follow WHS and company safety procedures at all times
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any faults or maintenance issues
• Communicate effectively with dispatch team.
