JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires an understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and heavy equipment operation, but we’re ready to train you in every way you need. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

EXPERIENCE

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or better) and a current Driver’s Abstract is required.
• Experience in commercial driving and handling freight is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair techniques is preferred.

• Transport materials via vehicle to various locations within Winnipeg and surrounding areas. We start our day at 6am at our customer’s dock.
• Load and unload material, following appropriate handling techniques.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
• Perform basic automotive maintenance on the truck as needed
• Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations regarding safety, equipment usage, and customer service.
