EXPERIENCE

• Valid commercial driver’s license (DZ or AZ) is required.
• Experience in freight transportation is preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment operation and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to driving and freight handling.
• Common sense and a respect for others on the road

• Operate trucks and other vehicles to transport freight to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and cargo.
• Communicate effectively with owner regarding routes, delays, or issues encountered during transport.
• Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal regulations governing commercial driving.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
