What does the job look like?

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused driver/ forklift operator (MC preferred, would consider HC/ HR license) for our Mining Services operation based in Emerald to move general freight to mine site locations. You will work Monday – Friday from 5am. Key areas:

• Participate in and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR requirements
• Safely deliver mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin
• Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
• Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders
• Providing excellent customer service while representing Linfox in a professional manner

Are you the one?

You are an experienced and conscientious operator who takes pride in your excellent driving record and safe work history. You can demonstrate:

• A commitment to safety in everything you do;
• Forklift license is essential
• MC license preferred, HC/ HR license considered
• A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
• Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
• Good customer service and communication skills
