Roadstone Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Truck Driver in Galway. The person appointed will report to the National Transport Manager, Roadstone Ltd. The role will be to deliver materials from Roadstone locations to customer sites. Applicants should have a proven track record in driving vehicles in a safe manner, have good interpersonal skills with both customers and Roadstone location staff.

Responsibilities

THE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver goods and drive whilst adhering to strong health and safety standards.
  • Good communication with Transport Department and Roadstone quarry or plant staff.
  • Operate in an efficient manner to ensure that we provide best in class service to our customers.
  • Carry out checks and inspections on the truck to ensure it is maintained correctly and any safety deficiencies are reported to the relevant supervisor.
