JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join KTX Transport team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight with care. The Truck Driver will also be expected to perform basic vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with all transportation regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
- Proven experience in 5 ton driving or heavy equipment operation preferred.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights if necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Operate 5-ton truck to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and freight information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition.
