We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Driver to join our team at our Gatton Rural Branch on a permanent full-time basis. As a local Truck Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of customer goods. This position also involves warehouse duties, including loading and unloading stock and ensuring proper load restraint practices are followed. What You’ll Do: Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company merchandise Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology Interacting with customers in a professional manner Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight Assist with general store and warehouse operations. About you: The candidates we are looking for will have: A current HR Licence / HC licence highly regarded A current forklift licence Knowledge of & experience with load restraint and mass requirements Knowledge of & experience with the use of manual pallet jacks Have a strong customer focus A strong commitment to safety and reliability Good time management and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test. Experience in a rural worksite or engaging with rural clients is highly regarded. Candidates must have valid and current Australian working rights to be considered for this position.
