The primary responsibility of this position is to safely transport equipment and materials to and from company locations and customer jobsites. Benefits include: Paid Time Off + 8 company paid holidays Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options for Employee and Family Disability & Life Insurance Packages Competitive Retirement Plan Tuition Reimbursement – available to FT employees with 1 year+ of service Additional supplemental offerings and discount programs Employee Referral Program Responsibilities Perform pre-trip inspection per DOT requirements at the beginning of each shift, including checking all fuels, fluids and systems. Keep the DOT required log current. Record all stops, including fueling and breaks. Maintain and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as defined by each customer and delivery location. Maintain the truck and trailer; keep clean and in proper working order. Review all paperwork and the GPS to determine most efficient routing and loading of materials and equipment. Secure all materials and equipment using DOT approved securement methods and procedures. Safely deliver products to their destination. Safely unload and familiarize the customer with the operation of the equipment. Get required signatures on paperwork before leaving site. Ensure vehicle is parked and secured at the end of the day, and all paperwork is processed according to company policies and procedures by the end of each shift. Note and advise your supervisor of any deficiencies in the equipment that need correction prior to vehicle being used for the next shift. Qualifications Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers’ License 1-2 years documented commercial driving Knowledge of the safe use and operation of trucks, trailers and other vehicles. Knowledge of D.O.T. and D.M.V. Rules and Regulations, preferred Reasonable written and verbal Communication skills. Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds. Ability to occasionally work outside in extreme outdoor conditions. Must be able to travel out of area and overnight if required This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
