In this role, you'll: Working as part of the Maintenance Team, this role will see you split your time between Truck Driving as well as undertaking road worker responsibilities helping to deliver maintenance and repair tasks of road infrastructure. You will operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles throughout the day and tow any trailers that the vehicle is rated to tow. You will champion safety, reliability, and operational excellence, conducting pre-start checks, identifying environmental hazards, and contributing to efficient, high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and responsive environment. This role will also be involved in responding to incidents, and as such will require someone who is willing and committed to being part of the on-call roster and available for night shift work when required. With a 9-day fortnight and every second Friday off, this role offers variety, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the community’s road network. About you We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment. You must hold the following: - White Card - Current unrestricted MR Driver Licence Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district is beneficial.
