ABOUT YOU

We are looking for experienced Truck Drivers who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.

• White Card
• MR Driver Licence
• Traffic control certifications (Traffic Controller / Implement) or willing to obtain before commencement.
• Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
• You will live within 100km radius of the South Tamworth depot
• Whilst not required, experience in operating plant (excavator, bobcat, padfoot/smooth drum roller) is advantageous.

We have a Permanent Full-time Opportunity for a Truck Driver (MR Gang) to join us in the Maintenance & Delivery team based in South Tamworth, NSW.

You will be required to carry out certain duties including but not limited to:

• Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes) as an MR Truck Driver for the Maintenance & Delivery team.
• Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when not operating the Truck.
• Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
• Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards
• We are seeking those that reside within a 100 km distance from either our South Tamworth depot.
• Work a 9 Day Fortnight
