HR Truck Driver

Salary: $78,000 – $82,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Superannuation

Due to our business requirements, we are seeking an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate heavy rigid (HR) truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.

- Load and unload goods, ensuring cargo is properly secured.

- Plan and follow delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery times.

- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.

- Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks and other transport documentation.

- Comply with road transport regulations, fatigue management requirements and company policies.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers and other team members.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

- Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.

Requirements

- Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license

- Minimum 1 year of relevant truck driving experience.

- Good understanding of Australian road rules, transport regulations and fatigue management.

- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

- Good communication and organisational skills.

- Physically capable of performing loading and unloading duties.

- Strong commitment to workplace safety.

- Forklift License.
